This spring, all 7-12th grade girls are invited to join the girls discipleship group that meets on Sundays at 5 PM. They will be working through the book of Deuteronomy together as they gain practical tools to study the Bible for themselves.

The FBK Women’s Ministry invites all women and girls 7th grade and up to a Mother’s Day Tea Party! Grab your best party hat and join the fun! Sign-up in Sunday school or by calling the church office by May 4th. Lunch will be provided and all ladies will make their own bouquet to take home. On Sunday, May 18th we will recognize our graduating high school seniors. We will have a special evening service to pray for these students as they enter a new season of life. Following the service we will have a finger food fellowship in the gym to celebrate with these graduates.

On March 2, FBK will host a one-day Churchwide Discipleship Conference entitled: The Word, The Work, and The People of God. We will begin with corporate worship at 10:15 AM and then resume in the afternoon for a session at 4 PM, followed by a free dinner (register below), and an evening worship service to wrap up the day. Training for those interested in participating in the AL Baptist Disaster Relief Ministry is now open! Chainsaw, Flood Recovery and Administration Ministry Training will be offered by the Colbert Lauderdale Baptist Association on February 21-22.
The Care Center at First Baptist Killen has a monthly clothing giveaway on the first Thursday of each month from 8:00 - 10:00 AM for families in our local community. It is our prayer that the FBK Care Center would help our community experience the love of Christ in a tangible way.
